Coaches’ Comments: (High School coach)

Shelby Buschur is a tremendous athlete both one and off the court.  Shelby has been a Varsity award winner for St. Henry both her sophomore and junior year. Shelby improved immensely during her sophomore season and became a real force for use as both a right side and left side player.  During her junior year we needed to switch her to a middle position to make our team better.  She worked extremely hard and became a force anywhere in the front row.  She led the team in most offensive categories and also had a tremendous jump serve.  Shelby works hard in practice to make herself and her teammates better. She's willing to take a leadership role to push her teammates into working hard and not taking the easy
way out of a drill.  For her senior year I am looking for big things from Shelby.  I think she can lead this team to great success.  I would like to see her defense improve and to be a part of every play on the court.

Off the court Shelby excels in the classroom.  She currently carries a 3.714 GPA.  She also works diligently in the offseason in the weight room and
doing plyo's and agility drills.  Shelby won't back away from a challenge.  My hope for her is that she unleashes all of her potential and has a tremendous senior season.
